SUNY Canton SAT Scores, Financial Aid More

The SUNY College of Technology at Canton admissions are not highly competitive--in 2016, around 80% of applicants were admitted. The school is test-optional, so applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores. Along with an application, interested students will need to send in official high school transcripts and a personal essay. SUNY Canton Description: The SUNY College of Technology at Canton is a public university located in Canton, New York along the banks of the Grasse River. The scenic campus in northern New York is close to the Adirondack Mountains and the St. Lawrence River as well as major cities such as Ottawa and Montreal.  St. Lawrence University  is less than two miles away. SUNY Canton has an average class size of 21 students and a student faculty ratio of 20 to 1. The university offers 20 associate’s degrees and 22 bachelor’s degree majors and 14 minors as well as three online master’s degree programs in conjunction with SUNYIT. Popular associate’s degree programs are nursing, criminal justice and liberal arts general studies, while the most common areas of study for bachelor’s students include finance, management and criminal justice. Students at SUNY Canton participate actively in campus life, with over 50 clubs and organizations. The SUNY Canton ‘Roos compete in the Unite d States Collegiate Athletic Association, and the university was approved in 2011 to become an exploratory member of the NCAA Division III.
